Who is the greatest Kean University athlete — of all time? Was it someone who played on the baseball team while you attended the University? Did someone on the 2012 men’s lacrosse team particularly stand out on the field? Well, Kean University alum George Bolzoni, has some interesting news… the Benisch Athletic Hall of Fame is currently seeking nominations for their 2021 ceremony! Here’s how you can nominate a former Kean Cougar:
In order for a Kean University athlete alum to be considered for induction into the Benisch Athletic Hall of Fame, he/she must meet the following criteria:
- Graduated at least 5 years ago
- Proof of participation in intercollegiate athletics
- Demonstrative embodiment of the highest athletic amateur ideals
- ‘Special spark’ that set the athlete apart from their contemporaries and teammates
- Significant and contemporary contribution to Kean’s athletic program (either through service, leadership or professional achievement demonstrated during and following his/her collegiate athletic career)
